SENSES

SENSES is a local parent and toddler group for pre-school children with additional needs. It is run by volunteers who have children with additional needs and/or have qualifications and experience of working in this field. No diagnosis or referral is required.

FAST

We are a voluntary group of parents of children and young people with an Autistic Spectrum Condition.

We aim to support families affected by autism by organising outings and social opportunities where people can participate in activities, make friends, and share their experiences within an understanding group of others in a similar situation.

We are a collective voice for parents of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). We are a growing voluntary organisation run by a management committee of volunteer parent carers and supported by a part time paid member of staff based at North Yorkshire & York Forum.

Stephen Finan Travel Trust

The Stephen Finan Travel Trust was established in 2009, It was set up in memory of Stephen Sydney Finan who passed away in 2007.

Stephen suffered from Cystic Fibrosis and was a keen traveller.  It was Stephens dying wish that this fund be set up in order to enable others with disabilities to persue their dreams of travelling.
